TRIPLE C PARTNERSHIP “KICKS OFF” TRAINING FOR BUSINESSES IN CROYDON The Triple C Partnership We are delighted to announce a unique and powerful partnership between Crystal Palace Football Club, Croydon Council and the Croydon Safeguarding Boards. Formed to promote the mantra “Safeguarding Is Everybody’s Responsibility” the partnership will combine the skills and training resources of the London Borough of Croydon and its Safeguarding Boards with the business links and networking opportunities of Crystal Palace Football Club, to encourage everyone in the borough to consider Safeguarding as an important tool to combat child abuse and promote the best opportunities for all children. Sarah Baker, Independent Chair of both of Croydon’s Safeguarding Boards is delighted at the initiative saying “… this initiative brings together influential partners across Croydon and demonstrates excellent partnership working to safeguard children.” The partnership has already “kicked off” with CPFC and its Foundation making a commitment to train all of its staff, stewards and players in Level 1 & Level 2 Safeguarding. Crystal Palace FC will be hosting the launch of this partnership at Selhurst Park on 5th July 2017. The workshop will raise awareness of how safeguarding should be an integral part of every business strategy and how it can be used to make Croydon a safer place for all children and vulnerable adults. Aimed at business leaders and strategic decision makers this workshop will include a tour of the stadium and details of how the businesses can access free accredited training. Their Chief Executive, Phil Alexander, is delighted to be working closely with Croydon Council on this latest initiative. “This is another example of the club working in conjunction with Croydon Council to bring the community together and this important project will see us all looking to raise awareness of safeguarding, issues across the Borough. The club are delighted to be hosting the launch event in May and it is really a great opportunity for us to come together to learn more about how we can achieve the aim of having a secure and quality workplace.”

General Manager of Relative Groundwork Limited, Tony Gallifant, has pledged support and committed to training RGW's staff alongside the work RGW already carry out in the community helping to educate children on Anti Racism and Anti Bullying with Show Racism the Red Card and the Crystal Palace Foundation.
